Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) announced that the power supply will be interrupted on August 21, 2024. In order to replace some worn-out lines and to also carry out repair work and extensions of electricity lines. This planned outage will ensure the stability, safety and reliability of electricity supply in the region. It will impact a few sections supplied by different feeders affiliated to other grid stations. In detail, the power distribution from the Bahaduray Wala feeder from the grid station 132-KV Industrial Estate and the Dholan Wal feeder from the grid station 132-KV Kamal Pur will be shut down between 6 a. m. and 11 a. m. New outages affect Bhaiwala, Gatti, Yousuf Abad, WAPDA Academy and 500 KV Gatti feeders that are connected to 132 KV Nishatabad grid station. Punjab Tariq Abad feeder, 132-KV OTP grid station, and Shadman feeder, 132-KV Tariq Abad grid station shall remain disconnected between 6 am and 11 am The Kathoor feeder, Ramzan Shaheed feeder, and Mochiwala Road feeder originating from 132 KV Gojra grid station will also be in non-service condition between 6 a. m. and 11 a.m.

Besides, the feeders Sammundri City, Salooni Jhal, Sain Wazir Ali, and Garh Road, which are connected with 132-KV Sammundri grid station, will remain off in 7:30 a. m. to 11:30 a. m. on Wednesday.
